Why Kids Art?

Children see the world in a way that many of us have lost - because of the day-to-day clutter that we allow to fill our minds and cloud our vision.

"Through the Eyes of a Child" is an attempt to capture and celebrate the beauty and purity of the world as only a child can see it.

Submissions and feedback are most welcome! Email your ideas or child's work to KidsArt2010@gmail.com

How to Submit Your Child's Work

1 - Send a jpg, gif or bmp of your child's work by email to KidsArt2010@gmail.com. Paintings, sketches, poetry and photographs all are welcome. If you have an image that is 300 dpi, that is preferable for clarity. If not, don't worry, we will work with it. (In some rare instances, we could be coerced into scanning a print but digital images are definitely preferred!)

2 - Include your child's full name, although we will only publish first names for privacy reasons. Also include your hometown and child's age.

3 - We willl never sell any child's work, although at some point we may set up an online store through Cafe Press to allow the children to sell their work if they choose to.

4 - There is a possibility that some of these images will be published at a later date in book form. Before that happens, every child will be given the opportunity to opt-out of the publication. A significant portion of the proceeds - again, if it gets to that point - will be donated to UNICEF or some other children's charity.

5 - We welcome all of your feedback and suggestions and truly want this to be a collaborative endeavor to showcase children and their work.
